LA Crude women makes history with first Women's Premier League Game

Rugby Women's season now underway

The Leduc Crude made history over the weekend playing their first ever Rugby game in the Alberta Women's Premier League.

On Saturday the Crude women had a split-squad game against the Strathcona Druids with significantly different results, in one game the Druids beat the Crude 22-4 but won the other game 27-5.

Meanwhile, it was a forgettable opening game for the Crude division 2 team who were beaten 75-0 by the Grande Prairie Sirens on Saturday afternoon.
