Wetaskiwin RCMP searching for missing 39-year-old

Twyla Evans was last seen on Sept. 6 between 5-8:00 p.m.

RCMP in Wetaskiwin are asking for your help in locating a woman who was last seen on September 6.

Police say Twyla Evans (39) was last seen at her Wetaskiwin home between 5:00 and 8:00 that evening. She was on her way to see a movie, although RCMP are uncertain if she attended. Evans’ green Jeep Compass was found unoccupied near the Safeway the following day.

She is described as a white woman, who is 5’7” tall, with an average build. She’s said to have shoulder-length, blackish-red hair, with green eyes. She wears dark-rimmed glasses, has a rose tattoo on her arm, and may be wearing a light grey jacket as well as carrying a small red purse with a shoulder strap.

Police say there is a general concern for her wellbeing.
