Four people from Wetaskiwin arrested in weekend drug bust
A routine traffic stop turned into a major bust for police in Wetaskiwin.
When police pulled over a vehicle Saturday they discovered there was cocaine, methamphetamine, and money plus a machete inside.
That prompted them to get a search warrant at a property in the city which led to the seizure of illicit drugs, a sawed-off firearm and two batons.
Police arrested and charged 4 people from Wetaskiwin in the incident including 25-year-old Trudy Bull, 31-year-old Jenean Bull, 45-year-old Timothy Davis and 28-year-old Tyler Pluim.
Trudy is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, unauthorized possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a firearm contrary to order and 7 counts of failing to comply with conditions of recognizance.
Timothy Davis is charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Jeanean Bull has been charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
Tyler Pluim has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of fentanyl, and possession of heroin.
All four suspects will appear in Wetaskiwin court on Tuesday. (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
