Wetaskiwin looking for volunteers for No Stone Left Alone campaign

Wetaskiwin seeking volunteers to honour fallen soldiers

The community of Wetaskiwin is looking for help with a special campaign ahead of Remembrance Day.

The campaign entitled "No Stone Left Alone" aims to ensure all of the city's 462 buried veterans have a poppy on their headstones.

This is the fourth year of this campaign and they're in need of volunteers to help with the project.

The event goes on Saturday morning at 10:30 am at Jubilee Park

They are looking for people connected with the sports team, youth organizations, schools, and other clubs to contact them to help out at nslawetaskiwin@gmail.com, www.nostoneleftaloneca.

The program launched in 2011 as a way to recognize the men and women who lost their lives while serving our country.  (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
