Heavy snowfall is affecting visibility and creating treacherous driving conditions.
A weather warning has issued a weather warning for Leduc County.
Very heavy bands of snow are moving through much of central Alberta, including the Leduc region. Visibility is greatly reduced due to the heavy snowfall, with less than 500 meters of visibility range.
The snow will be accumulating quickly, with overall snowfall amounts nearing 10 cm or more; however, the bulk of that snow has already fallen.
Low visibility is the primary hazard and main cause for concern at this time. Please give yourself extra time on the roads today and drive to conditions.
