Man killed in explosion at Leduc Business Park has been identified

The victim in that explosion last week in the Leduc Business Park has been identified.

40-year-old Devron Chase was working at Ja-Co Welding and Consulting when the explosion took place December 27 which claimed his life and sent two other men to the hospital with serious injuries.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) are continuing to investigate the cause of the explosion and temporarily issued a stop work order which was lifted on New Year's Eve.

Chase leaves behind a wife and three young daughters.

A funeral will be held for him on Monday at 11:30 am at the Leduc Fellowship Church located at 4401 Rollyview Road.
