Police arrest two males following a break and enter in Leduc on Saturday

Two people have been arrested following a break and enter in Leduc this weekend.

It was shortly after 4 Saturday morning when RCMP responded to a call from the homeowners who found the two males in their garage one was carrying a long gun.

A confrontation ensued with the homeowners getting bear sprayed as the suspects took off but were tracked down a short time later by Leduc Police.

Both suspects are facing a number of charges related to weapons, break and enter and other criminal code offenses.

The adult suspect was released on previous charges and bound by two Undertakings while the young suspect was released on previous charges as well and bound by Recognizance with numerous conditions and three probation orders.

Police believe the suspects were involved in a series of break and enter incidents in three jurisdictions.
