More stress at the workplace according to survey
The stress of a workday continues to worsen.
Morneau Shepell surveyed 1,600 employees and employers across Canada and found that over a third of employees report they're more stressed from work and personal issues than five years ago.
Workplace isolation plays a big part in the findings as 64% of those surveyed said they felt this and 73% of managers said they felt the same.
Another for the stress was feeling unappreciated at work.
Not everything was negative however as two-thirds of employees said their workplace has a positive impact on their personal mental health.
27% of employees rated their stress from work over the past 6 months as high or extreme compared to 34% for managers. JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
