Shooting in Southfork area on Wednesday night

At approximately 5 p.m. on July 29th, a 37-year-old man was shot in the Southfork area. 

At approximately 5 p.m. on July 29th, a 37-year-old man was shot in the Southfork area. 

The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by STARS to the hospital. A preliminary investigation revealed that a black Hummer was seen leaving the area of the shooting. Leduc RCMP and RCMP Air Services found the suspect vehicle in flames a short time later south of Leduc.

Leduc RCMP would like to advise this incident is not linked to a separate incident reported on July 17, 2020, in the Westhaven area which remains under investigation.
