Alberta Party acclaims Robb Connelly as the candidate for Leduc-Beaumont
Voters in Leduc-Beaumont have a third candidate now to choose from.
Robb Connelly ran uncontested for the Alberta Party in Leduc-Beaumont and has been acclaimed as their candidate.
He's a resident of Strathcona County with decades of experience in the energy field.
Connelly who worked for years at Syncrude and Epcor has promised to develop a Made in Alberta Climate Change Plan saying increasing the carbon price is weak and devoid of any meaningful scientific ability.
He says the best way to reduce the carbon footprint is through technology which can come in the form of equipment or processes that reduces or eliminates the use of hydrocarbons or the effects of its use.
Connelly will be running against NDP incumbent Shaye Anderson, and Brad Rutherford from the United Conservative Party. (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
