City helping to renovate and expand Protective Services building
The city of Leduc is making a major investment in protective services.
$13 million is being put to help the city's fire and police services over the next 2 years.
As part of the initiative the protective services building will be renovated and expanded, and two RCMP members will be added, a detachment clerk and a fire services member.
The plan is to overbuild in order to help with future growth for provincial and city municipal members.
Building construction is expected to start in the spring and it should be completed by 2021. (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
