Police and the Medical Examiners Office are still trying to determine the cause of death of a 27-year-old woman found in Wetaskiwin
Weeks after the death of a 27-year-old woman in Wetaskiwin police are still searching for answers.
It started on September 26 when RCMP were called to a home in Wetaskiwin on 49 Avenue and 53 Street at around 1:30 am where they found the woman lying outside with a serious head wound.
She would die of her injuries in hospital a few days later.
The Medical Examiners Office did an autopsy back on October 2 and the office is working closely with police to try and determine what caused her death.
Her name has not been released and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation which is ongoing. (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
