A 27-year-old man from Mundare is facing a list of charges after allegedly trying to drive through a fence last week at the airport.

Police and security were called to the scene in the daytime on November 22 when an SUV reported breached the fence before leaving west on highway 19.

It wasn't long before the vehicle and the suspect was caught and arrested by RCMP in Sylvan Lake.

Joshua Michal Ulan has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop at the scene of an accident and mischief.

He is also being charged with endangering the safety and security of an aircraft under the Aeronautics Act.
