Beaumont accepting donations for Operation Christmas Child
An annual gift program has started up once again in Beaumont.
Operation Christmas Child is back for its 25th year with the aim to bring joy and hope to children with gift-filled shoeboxes.
If you want to help all you have to do is pick up an empty shoebox and brochure with labels from a number of locations in Beaumont and fill it with items like school supplies, toys, hygiene items and more.
Representatives will be on hand to accept your donation until Sunday at Sobeys, Bellevue Dental and the Beaumont Community Church.
Over 157 million children in over 100 countries worldwide have gotten gifts from the program in the past 25 years.
