One man is in custody after he rammed a police vehicle.
On April 3rd, the Leduc RCMP were conducting a laser speed enforcement operation on Highway 2 and the RCMP vehicle was rammed.
The RCMP stopped one truck who was going well above the posted speed when the officer was about the exit the vehicle the driver put the truck in reverse and rammed the police car causing minor damage and the officer wasn't injured.
With the help of Edmonton Police Service's Air One, the driver and truck were located a short distance away.
35-year-old Karl Duhamel of St. Albert is facing charges of stolen property over 5000 and possession of a controlled substance.
Duhamel is currently being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today in Leduc.
