Nisku Centre Centre getting rid of some services
A mainstay in Nisku for decades will soon be a thing of the past.
Leduc County Council made a difficult decision recently to end services at the Nisku Recreation Centre.
For 30 years the centre served businesses and people in the community with space rentals, catering services and gym memberships.
The County says they will explore and review other options in the future but based on financial viability they felt it best to end these services in Nisku.
The changes will take effect at the end of this year.
If you have a gym membership that expires in 2020, the County will refund you the appropriate amount owed based on the month of purchase.
