Leduc RCMP Respond to Single Vehicle Rollover

Leduc County Fire Services, and City of Leduc Fire Services responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 795 near Township Road 482.

On Saturday, May 19, 2018, at approximately 7:45 a.m., the Leduc RCMP, Leduc County Fire Services, and City of Leduc Fire Services responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 795 near Township Road 482, 14 kilometers south of the Town of Calmar.

Witnesses advised that one of the vehicle occupants had been ejected, while the driver was still trapped in the vehicle.

The ejected passenger was flown by STARS air ambulance to the University of Alberta hospital, followed by the driver by ground ambulance.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.

The Leduc RCMP asks that motorists exercise extra caution while on the road, as well as having patience with other drivers in order to prevent any further injury or loss of life.
