A police vehicle was rammed here in Leduc, and suspects are in custody following a pursuit that began in Wetaskiwin.
A police chase that began just south of Leduc wound its way to Edmonton yesterday, resulting in a three-vehicle collision that injured one driver on Whyte Avenue.
According to the RCMP, a stolen vehicle was spotted in Wetaskiwin yesterday afternoon, and officers followed it through Maskwacis to Leduc, attempting to stop it at a gas station.
The driver of the vehicle rammed an RCMP unit and fled into Edmonton finally coming to a stop at the corner of 99th Street and 82nd Ave after it collided with another car and a van.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The occupants of the stolen vehicle attempted to flee on foot but were arrested. RCMP said a female was also taken into custody from the Leduc gas station.
Charges are pending against the three arrested individuals.
