Fraud calls making their rounds in Leduc

Leduc Police are warning people about a pair of fraud cases that have been reported to them.

In the incidents, victims have received a call from a fake bank manager claiming they are trying to catch a dishonest bank employee and the person claiming to be the manager requested the victim meet them in a parking lot to give them money.

You're being reminded that the bank would never call someone requesting a meeting in a parking lot to give money

If you've been the victim of a fraud case you're urged to report it immediately to RCMP in Leduc at 780-980-7267 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.  (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
