Some outdoor playgrounds in the county are now open in accordance with provincial guidelines, and users are expected to continue adhering to public health orders while using them.
Leduc County's reopened some playgrounds to the public yesterday.
The Sunnybrook, New Sarepta, Green Acres and Mission Beach playgrounds are now all open for use. Users are required to continue following federal and provincial public health orders, such as physical distancing and group size restrictions. You are also reminded that Leduc County playgrounds are not disinfected or cleaned for use.
You are asked to stay home if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or shortness of breath, or if you have been in close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19.
Users should practice proper personal hygiene and follow Alberta Health Services guidance on personal hygiene before and after visiting, and must adhere to physical distancing guidelines of staying at least six feet away from others.
