Leduc County hoping to receive FCM grant to help with infrastructure planning

Leduc County applying for a grant from the FCM Asset Management program

Knowing where to invest infrastructure money for municipalities is a major challenge especially on a much smaller budget.

That's why Leduc County is hoping to get a grant from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities(FCM) in order to have a better idea of where money should be invested in the future.

The County has applied for a grant from the FCM Asset Management Program and they could get as much as 50 thousand dollars if their bid is approved.

The program would help equip decision makers in the County to collect more specific data on current projects and gain a knowledge of what kind of projects could be done in the future.

The program is funded by the government of Canada.  (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
