Leduc's Emergency Management Agency conducts exercises to prepare in case of a rail disaster
Leduc's Emergency Management Agency is taking every precaution to ensure we're ready in the event of a disaster.
They conducted a series of tests to see what areas might need to be examined if a rail disaster should strike and have evacuation plans in place for facilities around the city just in case.
The city says the exercise objectives to determine ways to pollinate emergency plans and understand skills relative to emergency management were met during the experiment.
The agency will put forward recommendations to the city in the coming months based on their findings from the project known as Exercise Iron Horse. (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
