Province giving $175,000 to Leduc # Energy Discovery Centre
A museum in Leduc County dedicated to preserving the province's energy history is getting a lot of financial help.
The province is giving them a total of $175,000.
Leduc's #1 Energy Discovery Centre received $75,000 from Alberta's Culture and Tourism department and $100,000 from the Economic Development and Trade's Community and Regional Economic Supports Program.
The money will help the Centre improve financial planning and operating efficiencies.
Leduc's #1 sits southwest of Edmonton on the site where Alberta's first major crude oil reserve was discovered 70 years ago. (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
