Environment Canada issues Extreme Cold warning in the province

You might wanna really bundle up and stay inside as much as possible over these next few days.

Nearly the entire province is under an extreme cold warning from Environment Canada and those low temperatures are expected to stick around for the week.

Temperatures are expected to be hovering around the minus 30 range but with the wind chill, it could get as low as minus 45 in some areas.

To prepare you they advise you to cover up and don't leave any skin exposed as frostbite can develop within minutes.

Cold-related symptoms can include things like shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain, weakness, numbness, and color change in your fingers and toes.  (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
