Christmas comes early for Beaumont girl diagnosed with brain cancer

Beaumont girl with terminal brain cancer celebrates Christmas early

An 8-year-old girl from Beaumont who has terminal brain cancer got an early Christmas present this weekend.

Janaya Chekowski-McKenzie got that sad news back in February but has been able to cross off many things off her bucket list since then.

On Sunday she got a visit with characters from Disney's Frozen and Santa Claus among others along with a Christmas dinner at the Beaumont Curling Club.

Janaya then got to take a tour of Beaumont in style, as she was taken out to see the Christmas lights around the community all in a limousine.

All the proceeds for the event went to Janaya's family to help her complete her bucket list.

They've also started a Go Fund Me page which you can help donate to https://bit.ly/2OK59yE.  (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
