Brown received a total of 749 votes falling short of the final council spot.
Brown's main goals in his campaign are: Tax Control, Open Communication, Promoting and selling Beaumont, Recreational Facilities as well as Working with regional partners.
In Brown's campaign he goes on to say "The annexation process left our neighbouring communities upset and we will need to work hard on rebuilding relationships with them, my business and sales experience will help with that goal."
Brown shared his thoughts on the current council saying "it's a great group and I'd love to work with them, and we'd do great things as a team." Brown also added he's taking a different route with the aqua-fit phase 2, Brown goes to on say "It looks like the town is split 50/50 on the aqua-fit so how do we make everyone happy?, there is an alternate plan which would see a better field house built. By better I mean 3-4 lane walking track, possibly a viewing area for the pool". Brown added the alternate plan would be around 17 million dollars compared to the proposed 29.5 million.
Brown goes on to share his thoughts on the pool mentioning you can't go to the viewing area without getting your socks wet.
Residents can hit the polls on Monday Febuary 5th to cast their vote to fill the vacant council seat.
