High demand for cannabis has left shops low on stock
It's been legal for less than a week and already shops around the province are struggling to keep up with the high demand.
Many store owners in Alberta say there isn't enough weed to keep their doors open and ordering more products has become even tougher.
Here in Alberta, there's a shortage of stock on the retailer website of the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) which means new stores can't order any marijuana to stock their shelves.
The official supplier of Cannabis in the province is the AGLC who have been slammed by the high demand for pot and are scrambling to try and stock the full 300 cannabis items that are legal. (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
