New distribution rules implemented by AGLC when it comes to cannabis

The province is putting in some new rules to help shops better deal with shortages in cannabis.

Retail store owners will now have a manual ordering system that will make ordering products quicker and easier for all shops.

The new regulations mean that on Mondays stores will get an updated list of the cannabis products that the province has in stock and owners can then place an order within 24 hours and get what they ordered on a specific day.

This system put in place by Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis(AGLC) replaces the old first-come, first-served online way of doing things.

The AGLC believes this will help smaller stores have the same opportunities to get marijuana products as bigger ones.  (JSL/THE ONE NEWS)
